This major drainage project required us to handle 8′ sections of reinforced concrete box (RCB) structures that weighed a little over 30,000 lbs. Starting on a Monday morning, we dug out silt and over excavated 12″ in the creek bed, we then placed and leveled 100 TN of rock to firm up the grade. All of this work took place while we coffer dammed the creek on each end, and are working below water level. Our deadline was imposed by mother nature, significant rain in the forecast starting Wednesday (48 hours).
We took several blows from Murphy’s Law in two days time, but our team would not give up! This operation is one of the finest moments in the relatively short history of our company. Very Proud!
